INTRODUCTION

This OBD Genie programmer enables the daytime running lights feature on Audi vehicles.

Daytime running lights are a highly sought after safety feature. A soft light is emitted either from the headlights or the orange turn signal bulbs while the vehicle is in motion and the standard headlights are off. This feature alerts other drivers and pedestrians when your vehicle is running and in motion, and is required by law in certain countries.

Vehicles equipped with Quad or non-projector headlights will have the marker on low power activated. All other headlight's side-marker DRL circuit will be active.

VIN Lock Notice: OBD Genie programmers are locked to the VIN number of the vehicle they are installed in. This ensures that the program cannot be stolen and used on another vehicle. Third-Party Devices: Ensure that no third-party devices such as scanners or performance enhancement devices are plugged into the vehicle while installing the OBD Genie (BullyDog, SCT, etc). After the OBD Genie displays a green light, it is safe to remove it and plug the third-party device(s) back into the vehicle.
