What does the OBDGenie programmer do?
When you install a new feature into your vehicle — such as a rearview camera, trailer brake controller, or power folding mirrors — your vehicle's computer needs to be programmed to activate it. The OBDGenie does this for you, so you can skip the dealership and the high cost of a feature activation.
What is a Bypass Module, and do I need one?
Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles from 2018 and newer are built with a security gateway that blocks outside programming. To activate a new feature, you'll need to temporarily install the Bypass Module while using the OBDGenie programmer. View the bypass installation guide →
After I use my OBDGenie, can I use it in another vehicle?
The OBDGenie is permanently paired to the first vehicle it's used on. If you need to program more than one vehicle, please reach out to support@obdgenie.com for assistance.
Is there a warranty on my purchase?

Does OBDGenie ship internationally?
Yes! Please note that the OBDGenie programs features on American import models only. International shipping starts at $45.
